Coffee conversation: How can the Human Rights Profile Area benefit doctoral students?

26 March 2025 10:00 to 11:00 Workshop

For doctoral students across Lund University whose research relates to human rights in a direct or indirect way

In 2023, Lund University launched the Profile Area Human Rights to boost its unique research and education in this field. Researchers affiliated with the profile area focus on global human rights issues and analyse human rights as important tools for justice, working together across different faculties and fields of study to achieve this.

In the profile area, we are now planning how best to involve doctoral students from Lund University whose research relates to human rights.

We therefore invite interested doctoral students for “fika” and a group discussion to find out how you could profit from the Profile Area Human Rights. Concretely, we are interested to know what kind of initiatives or activities would be helpful for doctoral students whose research relates to human rights in a direct or indirect way.

Registration:  Limited number of seats. Please register by March 1st using this form.

On our website you can find out more about the Profile Area Human Rights, our current activities and research topics. Please also check the internal member pages for current member benefits.

We look forward to exchanging ideas with you!

Lena Halldenius (Profile area coordinator), Ulrike Krantz (Project corrdinator), Ilona Karppinen (Project administrator)
